How to Turn On / Off Track My Trips

When you are on the move and traveling at a certain speed, the Carbucks app automatically activates to determine if you may be driving and track your trips. If the app detects that there is no device connected, it will start logging your trips using your mobile Activity/Motion feature. However, if you have paired your Carbucks Vehicle Health Monitor, it will log your trips based on the device's data. 

Of course, you can opt out of tracking your trips automatically through the Trip Log Settings screen, please see below. 

When you select to track your trips Automatically, the Carbucks app will accurately start recording movement in your vehicle. When you toggle the automatic tracking off, you then have the option to select a specific device for recording your trips.  Please note that this means that if the chosen device is not connected, your trips will not be logged.

     

 

Please note: When the 'Automatically' setting is turned on or the 'Mobile Phone' option is selected, the app will log your trips if it detects your movement might be in a car. Therefore, it is possible that even if you are not driving a car with a Carbucks Vehicle Health Monitor device plugged in, your trips will still be recorded.
